A Filly bred to produce winners......

EXCLUSIVE CONTRACT is well named for she is the produce of the only mating between champion racehorse and top sire High Chaparral out of a daughter of another worldwide star Singspiel and therefore a unique prospect for the breeding paddocks. Her sire won 10 of his 13 starts for Coolmore, including the Epsom and Irish Derby, the Irish Champion Stakes, the Racing Post Trophy and was twice successful in the Breeders Cup Turf. As a son of the great Saddler's Wells, it was no surprise when he became just as successful at stud, even though his career was cut short by his untimely death in late 2014. So far he has produced a dozen Group One winners and has done particularly well in Australia.

To date 62 of his progeny have earned "black type" with Stakes wins and his son, SO YOU THINK was champion down under before joining the Coolmore operation in Ireland, winning five Group One events in Europe, including the Coral-Eclipse Stakes, the Irish Champion Stakes and the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot. And High Chaparral is now carving out a reputation as a top broodmare sire with his daughter, Muravka producing last season's top juvenile The Wow Signal - winner of the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Prix Morny in France. Now another daughter in Australia has produced Sauvito, winner of the Group One Futurity Stakes at Caulfield.

Our filly is a half-sister to four winners - Charles Camion who has 5 wins at up to 11 furlongs and is rated 98;  Stratton Banker with 3 wins in sprints and rated 87; Liberty Island with 7 sprint wins and rated 84 and Midnight in May who won over a mile as a juvenile and was rated 79 before injury ended her career. Exclusive Contract's dam was Birthday whose three other produce to race have all made the frame.  Birthday never raced herself and is a daughter of Singspiel whose world wide exploits for Godolphin included 5 Group One wins in the Japan Cup, the Dubai World Cup, the Canadian International, the Coronation Cup at Epsom and the Juddmonte International at York.

Birthday's dam was Kindergarten who won a Group 3 event in France and was also second in the Group One Prix Marcel Boussac - one of the top French juvenile events. her half-brother, Sandbar, won three times for Sir Michael Stoute and later scored six times over hurdles. She has so far produced two winners included a horse placed at Group level in Hong Kong and New Zealand. Kindergarten  was sired by Arc winner Trempolino and was out of Children's Corner, herself a daughter of French Derby winner  Top Ville out of a Reliance 11 mare. Children's Corner won 3 times in France and is a full sister to J'ai Deaux Amours who was runner-up in the Group 2 Prix de l'Opera and later produced Irish Deby winner Winged Love.

The family extends back to top French horses like dual Arc winner Tantieme and Epsom Derby hero Relko, so Exclusive Contract could have a very bright future indeed.
