The Right

One for the

Big Day

The hurly burly of Aintree with ADDINGTON BOY (blue & gold in foreground)  in action during the GRAND NATIONAL
CLUB RACING have perfected a scheme to match horses to owners for that special occasion.
Our Single Day Lease means you can have a horse running in your name and colours in any race at any racecourse up and down the UK.

From Hong

Kong to

It's a plan which works for individuals and companies; friends and social clubs - anyone who fancies a special day at the races.  Name the date and we will do our best to find a horse fit and ready to run. Our package includes all the basic details such as entry fees, jockeys fees, lease fee to the animals' "real" owner and all administration costs.

Major Peter Steveney used his 20 years experience as the Jockey Club's Senior Stipendary Steward on course to devise our Single Day Lease scheme and over the years we have successfully leased runners at all the major meetings from Ascot to Aintree; Wolverhampton to Yarmouth and all points in between.

Costs depend on the value and quality of the race and whether you wish to share in any prize money the horse might win, but he will run under your name in the official race card, your party will have access to the parade ring before the race to meet the trainer and jockey and - with luck - afterwards in the winner's enclosure. And don't worry if you haven't got any racing silks, we can help you find the colours of your choice too.

So if a special day as a real part of the Sport of Kings appeals, simply contact us here at Club Racing and we  will do the rest.

MARTELL came up with a special way to promote their excellent brand when they sponsored the Grand National at Aintree - a runner in the big race as a first prize in a special sales promotion

The winner was Hong Kong resident Mr F Y Chiu who was flown halfway around the world to be at Aintree and went home with a cheque for £12,500 in his pocket - the sum his horse Addington Boy earned by finishing an exciting fifth in the greatest race in the world.
Sporting Index held a similar promotion in Ireland which saw Club Racing source two-year-old filly Marrionaud to win at Leopardstown and she went on to complete a four-timer inside four weeks while Benbyas ran a great race at the Cheltenham festival when he was the prize for a competition in the Sun newspaper in Ireland. The gelding led for much of the way, was still in second place at the final hurdle, only to fade on the wicked climb to the winning line.
